Available Positions;

Title: Intern, Film Distribution

Start date: April 2009

Key Priorities:

• Support the organization in an administrative capacity including office management and clerical duties
• Maintain accurate database records
• Research, edit information required
• Assist in key projects and initiatives
• Coordinate with directors’ enquiries

Title: Acquisitions Intern, Film Distribution

Start date: June 2009

Key Priorities:

• Assist in executing a strategic plan for short film acquisitions
• Manage the short film acquisitions process including submissions and screening of the films
• Maintain accurate database records of the films submitted, screened and acquired
• Liaise with filmmakers to complete the required delivery materials
• Respond to filmmakers’ inquiries
• Represent Ouat Media at film festivals for the purpose of short film acquisitions
• General office administrative duties
• Other duties as required or assigned

 Title: Festival Services Intern

Start date: ASAP

Key Priorities:

• Administer and support the Festival Services by fulfilling submissions contracts on a monthly basis
• Research and edit information required for each client and related film festivals
• Maintain accurate database records of the films submitted, screened and acquired
• Maintain acquired film inventory
• Liaise with filmmakers to complete the required delivery materials
• Respond to filmmakers’ inquiries
• Assist the Distribution Supervisor in the coordination of acquisitions, sales and festival
• services
• General office administrative duties
• Represent Ouat Media at film festivals for the purpose of short film festival submission services
