Ouat Media joins the enRoute film festival as official pre-screening partner to cull entries and nominate films for inflight broadcast and adjudication by the star jury. This years selected films can be viewed online and on Air Canada flights.

Genie nom for The Tragic Story of Nling - Best Live Action Short

Toronto - February 19, 2008 - Ouat Media is proud to announce “The Tragic Story of Nling” has been nominated for Best Live Action Short Drama at the 2008 Genie Awards. Academy members can view this film online to vote for this brilliant short film.

Director Jeffrey St. Jules and producer Larissa Giroux created this powerfully stunning 15-minute short drama which takes audiences to Nling, an impenetrable walled slum city whose inhabitants are cut off from the world outside. The story follows a Nlingian man and his best friend Donkey in their search to find food and alcohol.

Ouat Media wishes luck to Jeffrey St. Jules and Larissa Giroux for “The Tragic Story of Nling” to win their nomination of Best Live Action Short Drama at the 2008 Genie Awards.
